Aligning Values: How Hamptons Resourcing Supports the Families First for Children Pathfinder Programme

Hamptons Resourcing are proud to announce to support the newly launched Families First for Children (FFC) Pathfinder programme, spearheaded by the Department for Education.

Launched following the government’s response to the Independent Review of Children’s Social Care, ‘Stable Homes, Built on Love’, the FFC Pathfinder is already being implemented across several local authorities; including Warwickshire, Dorset, Lewisham, Lincolnshire, Luton, Redbridge, Walsall, Warrington, The Wirral, and Wolverhampton. A full national rollout is expected between 2025 and 2027.

This new initiative aims to transform children’s social care, by emphasising early support and reducing the need for crisis interventions – perfectly aligned with Hamptons’ purpose, mission and values.

By aligning our recruitment expertise with the objectives of the FFC Pathfinder programme, we are dedicated to supporting local authorities in implementing these vital reforms.

We invite local authorities to explore how Hamptons Resourcing can assist in fulfilling their staffing needs for the FFC Pathfinder programme. Together, we can work towards a future where families receive the support they need, when they need it, leading to better outcomes for children across the country.

The FFC Pathfinder programme focuses on several key areas of reform:

  • Family Help: Providing timely and effective support to families to address issues before they escalate.
  • Multi-Agency Child Protection Teams (MACPT): Enhancing collaboration among professionals to ensure the safety and well-being of children.
  • Family Networks: Strengthening the support systems around families by engaging extended family members and the community.
  • Multi-Agency Safeguarding Arrangements (MASA): Establishing robust frameworks for safeguarding children through coordinated efforts.

As the FFC Pathfinder expands, we are ready to support local authorities in finding the right talent to deliver on this critical programme. By leveraging our experience and commitment to ethical recruitment, we can help councils implement the Families First model effectively.

Hamptons are social care specialists, we’re always one step ahead, making us best placed to advise our network on what’s going on in the sector, and what we expect to happen next.
