Here at Hampton’s Resourcing we are proud to be working in partnership with a well-established and passionate children’s residential care provider who are on the lookout for an experienced Deputy Manager to assist in the running of their small children’s home for young people with learning disabilities based in the Cornwall area.

The Role: Children’s Deputy Home Manager

  • Ensure that all staff are aware of their roles and responsibilities in relation to the Children’s Regulations 2015 and the Quality Standards
  • Ensure that the standards expected in the delivery of care are upheld and the standing of the Company is maintained
  • Ensure that all administrative requirements of the home are maintained in such a way that they are complaint with good child care practice, home procedures, company policies and children regulations
  • Responsibility for organising staff rotas as advised by the Registered Manager

About You:

  • Level 3 in Children’s Residential Care or equivalent
  • Experience in a Team Leader Deputy Manager role in a children’s residential care setting
  • Able to engage appropriately with young people and develop rapport
  • Experience of working with young people with learning disabilities and complex needs
