Exciting opportunity with a growing children’s residential care provider!

Hampton are working in partnership with a small yet passionate children’s residential care provider who are looking for a highly experienced Deputy Manager to assist in the running of their newly opened children’s home based in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire.

The Role: Children’s Deputy Home Manager

  • Work closely with the Registered Manager to manage relationships with relevant stakeholders, professionals and partners
  • Work in partnership with parents, carers and other professionals to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people
  • Support and oversee the day-to-day running of the home including management of the staff team
  • Managing administrative tasks and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
  • To promote the efficient and effective operation of the home and support the manager in creating a compelling vision for staff

About You:

  • Experience working at a Deputy Manager level within a children’s residential home.
  • A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent.
  • A recognized Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent (or working towards this).
  • Excellent knowledge & understanding of The Children’s home regulations, National Minimum Standards, Every Child Matters, & the Children Act
  • Experience working with young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties
  • Willingness to be flexible to meet the needs of the home
