Here at Hamptons we are delighted to be working in partnership with a newly-established yet passionate children’s residential care provider who are on the lookout for an experienced Deputy Manager assist in opening their BRAND NEW 4 bed children’s home based in Devizes, Wiltshire.
The Role: Children’s Deputy Home Manager
- Work closely with the Registered Manager to manage relationships with relevant stakeholders, professionals and partners
- Work in partnership with parents, carers and other professionals to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people
- Support and oversee the day-to-day running of the home including management of the staff team
- Managing administrative tasks and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
- To promote the efficient and effective operation of the home and support the manager in creating a compelling vision for staff
About You:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or willingness to undertake)
- Must have Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Experience working with young people with behavioural difficulties
- Desire to make a positive change for young people
- Understanding of Ofsted regulations
