Here at Hamptons we are delighted to be working in partnership with a well-established and passionate children’s residential care provider who are on the lookout for an experienced Deputy Manager to assist in the opening of their BRAND NEW children’s homes based in Leominster, Herefordshire.

The Role: Children’s Deputy Home Manager

  • Work closely with the Registered Manager to manage relationships with relevant stakeholders, professionals and partners
  • Work in partnership with parents, carers and other professionals to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people
  • Support and oversee the day-to-day running of the home including management of the staff team
  • Managing administrative tasks and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
  • To promote the efficient and effective operation of the home and support the manager in creating a compelling vision for staff

About You:

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or willingness to undertake)
  • Must have Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Experience working with young people with behavioural difficulties
  • Desire to make a positive change for young people
  • Understanding of Ofsted regulations
