The Role: Deputy Manager – Children’s Residential
About You:

  • Must have Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Deputy Manager within a children’s residential care setting
  • Confident in completing audits and reg 44 inspections
  • Ability to build positive working relationships with customers, their families, care staff and other health and social care professionals
  • Confidence in training and developing staff members to improve performance and ensure compliance
  • Excellent organisation and written and verbal communication skills including the ability to listen attentively to others
  • Experience working with young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties

About the role:
We are working in partnership with a well-established children’s residential care provider who are on the lookout for an experienced Deputy Manager to assist in the opening of a BRAND NEW home for 4 young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties based in Dover, Kent.  If you are a strong and charismatic leader who is ready to take on such a rewarding role, this is the one for you!
