Deputy Manager Opportunity – Leamington Spa
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced residential childcare professional to join a small, Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ children’s home supporting young people aged 8–17. The home delivers a therapeutic, trauma-informed model of care within a stable, nurturing environment designed to help young people feel safe, valued, and supported.
The Role:
Supporting the Registered Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the home and provide strong leadership to the care team. You will ensure high-quality, child-centred care is consistently delivered while maintaining compliance with regulatory and safeguarding standards.
Key responsibilities include leading and developing staff, promoting therapeutic practice, maintaining accurate records, supporting care planning, and participating in the on-call rota.
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience as a Deputy Manager or Senior Residential Support Worker in a children’s home
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed and therapeutic care
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Full UK driving licence
