I am proud to be working with an enthusiastic, childcare centred organisation to help them recruit for a Registered Manager to support the opening of their new EBD focussed home in Cannock. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager to utilise their leadership skills and play an integral part in a budding service.
Role Overview:
- Lead the home in line with Children’s Homes Regulations, Quality Standards, and Ofsted expectations.
- Head up the registration process for the home.
- Oversee care planning, safeguarding, and risk management.
- Manage Reg 44 and Reg 45 processes.
- Recruit for, motivate, supervise, support, and develop your team.
- Ensure financial sustainability and appropriate occupancy.
- Foster a trauma-informed, reflective, and child-centred culture.
- Liaise with external professionals and represent the homes during inspections.
About you:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (Children, Young People & Families).
- Previous and successful experience in a leadership role in a children’s residential setting / service.
- In-depth knowledge of care regulations, Ofsted processes and compliance, and frameworks.
- Leadership style that’s confident, collaborative, and calm under pressure
- Full UK driving licence and vehicle.
- Previous Ofsted registration and inspection experience.
