We're recruiting a Registered Manager for well-established children's provider in Colchester, Essex, supporting children and young people. The home provides stability, high-quality care, and a therapeutic environment to help young people move forward positively.
The role:
- Managing the day-to-day running of the home, upholding high standards of care, and ensuring full compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Inspiring, coaching, and supporting a committed staff team to achieve their full potential.
- Building and strengthening productive relationships with local authorities, educational institutions, and community organisations.
- Taking responsibility for safeguarding, health and safety, and overall operational management.
About you:
- Has a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a position relevant to the residential care of children.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England).
- Full UK driving licence.
What's on offer:
- Salary up to £46,500 per annum, and performance-related bonuses.
- Up to £5,000 relocation package if you relocate in order to take this role.
- Annual leave starts at 26 days.
- Receive an additional 3.5 days of leave (one for your birthday, one for health and wellbeing, one to volunteer and a half day for festive celebrations).
