We are proud to be partnering with a long-standing, reputable children’s residential provider in the Southwest, known for delivering exceptional care to vulnerable young people for over a decade. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a stable, established 2-bed EBD home in Swindon, where your leadership will directly shape the lives and outcomes of the children you support.

Role Overview:

  • Lead an established Ofsted-registered 2-bed EBD home (currently Good rated)
  • Provide strong, compassionate leadership to your staff team
  • Manage rotas, supervisions and the development and wellbeing of your team
  • Oversee care plans, striving for the best possible outcomes for each young person
  •  Embed the 9 Quality Standards into everyday practice
  • Apply strong working knowledge of the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015
  • Build effective relationships with external agencies and advocate confidently when needed
  • Ensure safeguarding practices meet company and regulatory standards
  • Manage budgets responsibly and oversee all administrative and reporting duties
  • Celebrate achievements for both the children and your staff team
  • Ensure the home remains a safe, nurturing and child-centred environment at all times

Requirements:

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
  • At least 2 years’ experience within residential childcare (within the last 5 years)
  • Currently working as a Registered Manager, OR an experienced Deputy Manager with 12+ months experience (meeting Ofsted’s Regulation 28)
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, support and guide a team
  • Passionate about delivering high-quality, child-centred care and driving positive outcomes

Salary & Benefits:

  • Salary £45,000 – £52,000 (dependent on experience)
