Hamptons are working closely with a small yet well-established children’s residential care provider who are looking for an experienced and motivated Registered Manager to oversee their ‘Good’ rated 3 bed EBD home based in Harrow, North West London. This is a perfect opportunity to work for an established provider to secure your next steps in your career.

The Role: Children’s Registered Manager

• Ensure the effective implementation of the Children Act 1989 and the accompanying guidance and regulations, the Care Standards Act and the Children’s Homes Regulations
• Provide leadership and coaching in childcare practice within the home to ensure best outcomes for children and young people
• Ensure the assessment and evaluation of the needs of the young people is recorded accurately and comprehensively
• Supervise and support the staff group ensuring that the team are developed appropriately to meet the specific needs of children and young people in the home

About You:

• Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Children’s Residential or equivalent
• Specialist knowledge of Children’s Home Regulations and safeguarding procedures
• Committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for the young people
• Well developed written and verbal communication
• Must have been registered with Ofsted previously with successful outcome
• Working knowledge of young people with emotional and behavioral difficulties
