Children’s Registered Manager – 3-Bed EBD Home
Location: Coventry
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 per annum
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Manager to lead and manage a brand-new 3-bed residential children’s home in Coventry, supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). This is an exciting opportunity to help build a service from the ground up and create a safe, nurturing home that empowers children to thrive.
About the Role:
As Registered Manager, you will have full responsibility for the daily running of the home, ensuring outstanding care, safeguarding, and compliance with Ofsted regulations. You will recruit, develop, and lead a team to deliver individualised, high-quality support to children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide visible, values-led leadership with a child-centred focus.
Ensure the home meets and exceeds Ofsted standards, aiming for ‘Outstanding’.
Lead on care planning, safeguarding, compliance, and risk management.
Build and manage a skilled, motivated, and compassionate care team.
Develop strong working relationships with young people, families, and external professionals.
Promote a structured, supportive, and homely environment tailored to individual needs.
Manage home budgets and resources effectively and responsibly.
About You:
Minimum of 2 years' experience working with children in a residential care setting.
At least 1 year’s experience at Deputy Manager level or above.
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards).
Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015.
Passionate, resilient, and committed to delivering exceptional care.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Full UK driving licence required.
