Hamptons are proud to be working with one of the UK’s leading children’s residential care providers who are looking for an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead and open a brand-new 4-bed children’s residential home in the DN9 area of Doncaster.

The home will support children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and will cater to mixed genders.

As the Registered Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the registration, setup, and ongoing development of the home, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and providing a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment where children can thrive.  

What you’ll be doing:

•    Lead the registration process with Ofsted and ensure full compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations.
•    Promote a child-centred approach, ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding, and emotional support.
•    Develop and maintain individual care plans tailored to each young person’s needs.
•    Maintain occupancy levels while ensuring the home is compliant, safe, and meets quality standards.
•    Ensure the home is prepared for Ofsted inspections and work towards achieving an Outstanding rating.

What we’re looking for:

•    Hold NVQ Level 3  in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
•    Hold Level 5 diploma in Leadership and Management or equivalent. 
•    Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a children’s residential setting at a senior or managerial level.
•    Strong knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations and Ofsted frameworks.
•    Have a full, clean UK driving license and be able to cover at other Residential Homes as and when needed. 

What’s on offer:

•    Salary of £48,000 per annum
•    Ofsted Bonuses – £3,000 for an Outsanding report or £1,500 for a Good report 
•    Full Occupancy bonus of £400 per month
•    On call rate of £25 on  weekdays / £35 on weekends
•    Annual leave of 25 days plus 8 statutory holidays
