We are currently seeking a Registered Manager to oversee a well-established children’s residential home in Swindon. The service focuses on delivering a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment where young people are supported to grow and achieve positive outcomes.
The role:
- Managing the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring high standards of care are consistently delivered and that the service remains fully compliant with all relevant regulations.
- Providing leadership and guidance to the staff team, supporting their development and helping them perform at their best.
- Developing and maintaining positive partnerships with local authorities, schools, and other key professionals involved in supporting the young people.
- Taking overall responsibility for safeguarding, health and safety, and the effective operation of the home.
About you:
- Has a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a position relevant to the residential care of children.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England).
- Full UK driving licence.
What's on offer:
- Salary up to £47,500 per annum, and performance-related bonuses.
- Up to £5,000 relocation package if you relocate in order to take this role.
- Annual leave starts at 26 days.
- Receive an additional 3.5 days of leave (one for your birthday, one for health and wellbeing, one to volunteer and a half day for festive celebrations).
