An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Manager to lead a well-established children’s home in Kent. The service is dedicated to providing a safe, supportive, and therapeutic setting where children and young people can thrive and achieve positive outcomes.
The role:
- Overseeing the daily operations of the home, maintaining excellent standards of care, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements.
- Leading, mentoring, and developing a dedicated staff team to support their professional growth and performance.
- Establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with local authorities, schools, and external partners within the community.
- Ensuring effective safeguarding practices, health and safety standards, and the overall smooth management of the service.
About you:
- Has a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a position relevant to the residential care of children.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England).
- Full UK driving licence.
What's on offer:
- Salary up to £56,000 per annum, and performance-related bonuses.
- Up to £5,000 relocation package if you relocate in order to take this role.
- Annual leave starts at 26 days.
- Receive an additional 3.5 days of leave (one for your birthday, one for health and wellbeing, one to volunteer and a half day for festive celebrations).
