An excellent opportunity has arisen for a motivated Registered Manager to lead a children’s residential home within a local authority in Derby. This role involves supporting children and young people with a range of complex needs, ensuring high standards of care, safety, and personal development.

The role:
•    Offer effective leadership and guidance to your staff team, enabling them to deliver therapeutic, person-centred care that supports improved outcomes.
•    Ensure the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and compliance in line with Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.
•    Manage all aspects of the home’s operations and care provision, promoting a high-performance culture grounded in compassion and accountability.
•    Maintain compliance and readiness for Ofsted inspections, aiming for consistent ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ ratings.
•    Manage budgets effectively while maintaining quality and service standards.

About you:
•    3 years of experience in a similar position within a children’s residential setting.
•    Experience supporting children with challenging behaviour and EBD is highly preferred. 
•    Level 3 qualification in Children’s and Young Peoples Workforce or equivalent, and Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or working towards). 
•    Strong knowledge of the Children’s Homes regulations and the Ofsted framework. 
•    Full UK driving licence.
