Make a Difference in a New Children's Home in Bingley!
We are excited to partner with a dedicated residential childcare organization in Bingley that is looking for a Registered Care Manager to lead their new children’s home. This position offers a remarkable opportunity to create and shape a service that will have a lasting impact on young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
The Role:
Ensure the home operates in accordance with all relevant legislation and National Minimum Standards (Ofsted).
Deliver a consistently high standard of care and support that aligns with the organization’s values.
Maintain the organization’s reputation through positive engagement with stakeholders and the community.
Conduct ongoing evaluations of practices and culture, implementing improvements as needed.
Create a safe and nurturing environment for both staff and children.
Play a key role in expanding and diversifying the services offered by the home.
Oversee the supervision and management of Deputy Managers and social work staff.
Foster a culture of excellence in all aspects of service delivery and staff management.
Help cultivate an environment where the quality of care is always prioritized.
About You:
Proven track record as a Registered Manager with experience in Ofsted settings.
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or a commitment to obtain one).
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
A strong desire to positively influence the lives of young people.
Comprehensive understanding of Ofsted guidelines and regulations.
