Hamptons are working with a West Midlands authority who are looking to recruit an Older Persons Commissioner, for a three day per week contract.
The Role: Older Persons Commissioner
- To ensure a range of quality, outcome focussed, person centred and best value Community based services, to include Extra Care Housing, Domiciliary care, sheltered Housing, personal assistants and micro services and prevention services are commissioned in relation to the needs and demographic makeup of local people.
- To ensure a range of quality, outcome focussed, person centred, and best value Residential and Nursing homes are commissioned in relation to the needs and demographic makeup of local people.
- To ensure effective care is commissioned in partnership with the Integrated Commissioning Board (ICB) and Health Trusts as may be appropriate
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the undertaking and maintenance of local data collection/analysis that ensures that commissioned provision fits local needs and demographic makeup.
- Analyse intelligence, data alongside priorities and best practice and deliver forecasts, and modelling in key market or adult social care areas.
- Support the development and delivery of commissioning strategies and ensuring activity is in line with strategic commissioning plans.
About You:
You will be an experienced Commissioner within Adult Services.
