The Role:
An interim opportunity has arisen for an experienced Data & Performance Consultant to provide short-term, hands-on support within a local authority education service. This assignment will focus on improving data quality, performance reporting and performance management, with particular emphasis on quickly understanding existing systems and processes, identifying issues, and delivering practical solutions.
You will work with key stakeholders to strengthen reporting and ensure data is accurate, reliable and fit for purpose. The role is West Midlands based with a hybrid approach, though the majority of work will be remote.
About You:
You will be an experienced Data & Performance professional with a strong track record in public sector environments, ideally within local authority services.
You will bring:
- Proven experience with Liquid Logic and Synergy (essential)
- Strong knowledge of data quality, performance reporting and data governance in a public sector setting
- A practical, delivery-focused approach and the ability to pick up systems and processes quickly
- Confidence working independently, spotting issues within datasets, and implementing improvements at pace
- Immediate or short-term availability preferred
What’s On Offer:
- £450–£500 per day
- Approx. 8-week assignment
- Hybrid working (majority remote)
- Full-time or part-time arrangements considered
