Hamptons Resourcing is proud to partner with one of the UK’s leading children’s residential care providers, who are looking for an experienced and passionate Deputy Manager to join their children’s residential home in Leicestershire.
The role:
• Lead and support the team by supervising staff, managing shifts and rotas, and facilitating effective communication through meetings.
• Ensure placement plans are implemented, education is encouraged, and all policies, procedures, and risk assessments are followed and kept up to date.
• Promote the welfare and development of each child while providing guidance, motivation, and leadership to the wider staff team.
• Have excellent knowledge and understanding of Children's core documents and the ability to monitor and update these as and when necessary.
What we’re looking for:
• Is 22 years old or above (to meet Ofsted regulations).
• Has their NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare.
• Has at least 2 year’s experiences within Residential Childcare and working alongside young people.
• Has a valid manual driving licence.
What’s on offer?
• Salary up to £35,000.
• Receive a £100 bonus for achieving a ‘Good’ Ofsted outcome for the home and a £200 bonus for achieving ‘Outstanding’.
• 224 hours holiday, gradually increasing to 248 hours after 4 years of working with us.
