A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated Deputy Manager to join an EBD children’s residential home in Leicester. This is a pivotal role within a supportive and dynamic team, offering the chance to work closely with children who require tailored care and support.
The role:
• Lead and support the team by supervising staff, managing shifts and rotas, and facilitating effective communication through meetings.
• Promote the welfare and development of each child while providing guidance, motivation, and leadership to the wider staff team.
• Ensuring team leaders have created and updated placement plans, risk assessments and other relevant paperwork.
• Ensure the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and compliance in line with Ofsted regulations and support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day running of the home.
About you:
• Holds an NVQ Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
• Previous experience in running a team and delegating tasks within residential care is highly preferred.
• Passionate about delivering high standards of care and making a positive impact on young lives.
What’s on offer:
• Salary up to £35,000 per annum.
