Hampton's is seeking an exceptional Registered Homes Manager to oversee two 2-bedded children's homes in the Manchester region, both currently rated 'Good' by Ofsted. This role offers a unique chance to lead and inspire a dedicated team, ensuring the highest standards of care for resident children.

Role Responsibilities:
– Manage the homes' resources to provide a positive living experience for resident children.
– Undertake registered manager responsibilities under the Care Standards Act 2000 and the Children’s Homes Regulations.
– Supervise and offer constructive feedback to staff, ensuring they meet the highest standards.
– Safeguard children and young people, reporting and recording any concerns in line with guidance, regulation, and company policy.
– Implement the company’s operating model, ensuring all processes are followed.
– Regularly review core plans, such as placement plans and risk assessments, to achieve the best outcomes for young people.
– Foster an open and supportive atmosphere within the homes, promoting growth and development for both staff and young people.
– Ensure the homes are safe and provide a pleasant environment for children.
– Develop links between the community and the homes to enable children to participate fully in local community life.
– Recruit, train, and develop staff to meet the homes' objectives.
Candidate Profile:
– Proven experience with Ofsted registration and at least one Ofsted inspection.
– Minimum of 3+ years working with young people in residential care, including at least 12 months as a home manager.
– Level 3/4 Diploma in Children and Young People in Residential Childcare or equivalent.
– Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare.
– Current driving licence.
– Strong values, integrity, and excellent communication skills.
– Ability to lead staff teams effectively and confidently.
– Knowledge of Child Protection & Safeguarding.
Key Info:
– Annual leave – 28 days +Bank Holidays.
– Overtime – enhanced pay for any overtime/sleeps.
– DBS Check – Our client will cover the cost of your DBS check and further renewals.
– Qualifications – Access to relevant and up to date training courses. Role does require experienced therefore, Level 5 required.
– Staff Referral Scheme – £250 bonus for staff referral after success completion of probation.

– Contracted Hours – You will be required to work Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week. Flexibility of hours is key as there will be occasional contact out of regular working hours, occasional sleep-in duties are expected in the role. Working from home days are allowed, but no more than 1 day per week.
