The Role:
• Manage statutory EHC assessment and review processes in line with the Children and Families Act 2014 and SEND Code of Practice 2015
• Lead on co-producing high-quality EHCPs with families using a relational practice approach
• Ensure EHCPs are legally robust, reducing risk of challenge at SEND Tribunal and High Court
• Coordinate multi-agency input across education, health, and social care
About You:
• Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and statutory processes (0–25)
• Experience managing EHCP caseloads within a local authority
• Confident drafting legally compliant, high-quality EHCPs
• Ability to manage complex caseloads and conflicting deadlines
