Registered Manager Position for a Fostering Service in Wakefield
Hamptons are working closely with a well-established children's care provider who are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to lead their fostering service in Wakefield. This role involves managing a caseload of up to 20 foster families and offers a competitive salary of up to £60,367 for the successful candidate.

The Role:
As the Registered Manager, you will be at the helm of a dedicated team, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for children and young people in foster care. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the day-to-day operations, providing guidance and mentorship to your team, and ensuring compliance with statutory frameworks and relevant legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
– Manage and support a caseload of up to 20 foster families.
– Ensure compliance with the Fostering Services (England) Regulations 2011 and the National Minimum Standards.
– Provide regular supervision and support to the multi-disciplinary team.
– Develop and implement development plans for staff and foster carers.
– Maintain effective working relationships with local authorities and other stakeholders.
About You:
– Expertise: In-depth knowledge of statutory frameworks, processes, and relevant legislation.
– Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to mentor and support your team effectively.
– Commitment: A strong commitment to promoting and safeguarding the wellbeing of children.
– Qualifications: Registered with Social Work England as a Social Worker.
– Mobility: Hold a full driving licence with access to a vehicle.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, 9am to 5pm.
