Hamptons are proud to be supporting an organisation in recruiting for a Head of Fostering to oversee their North region, leading an operationally excellent region, and their experienced team of Operations Managers, and Social Workers.
The Role:
- Managing a team of Operations Managers and Social Workers, offering managerial support and leadership. Manage in a therapeutic, and supportive manner, with a focus on the potential and ability of the team in place.
- Ensure that the young people in care in the North Region are in a positive, well managed environment allowing them to reach their full potential.
- Offering training and development to Social Workers, with focus on producing a high performing region – overseeing operational excellence, financial performance, and delivering / maintaining an organisational business plan.
- Working alongside the Assistant Director of Fostering, stepping in and taking on ad-hoc responsibilities as and when necessary.

About you
- Have a car and a valid driving licence to facilitate travel to support your team and meetings nationally at other Compass offices.
- Have experience working towards KPI’s focused on growth and carer recruitment and retention.
- ensure that the child protection and safeguarding practices and fully embedded across the region.
- Have relevant Social Work Degree.
