Hamptons are delighted to be working in partnership with Blackburn with Darwen who are seeking a permanent Head of Provider Services.

Head of Provider Services 
The key aim will be to lead the development and delivery of the Council’s in house provider and independent living services.
 As an integral part of the leadership team and working collaboratively with colleagues across all departments and with external partners, leading the vision, transformation, and day to day operational direction of the services within the portfolio.
To undertake the relevant duties and responsibilities of the role as specified within the Care Act, CQC requirements and all allied regulations, standards, and legislation.
To ensure that the council executes its social care responsibilities in a safe and professional manner having due regard for inspection and quality assurance standards.
Competently lead and manage the Social Care provider service and Social Work division in ensuring the delivery of services within the area of responsibility of the post and acting as lead professional advisor for Adult Social Care either delivered or commissioned by the council.

About You:
You will have strong experience, knowledge and a proven track record of management and senior leadership within Adult Social Care and of achieving excellence within regulated Provider Services. 
You will have a depth of experience and knowledge across multiple disciplines of social care delivery which could include for example hospital discharge; CQC registered services, independent supported living and services for people with a learning disability or mental illness
Professional Social Work qualification, Occupational Therapy or equivalent or proven track record of achieving excellence within regulated Adult Social Care Provider services

What's On Offer:
Salary ranges from £70,359 to £75,407 per annum
Hybrid working (3 days per week onsite)
