Here at Hamptons we are delighted to be working in partnership with one of the UK’s leading social care providers who are looking for a dynamic and passionate Head Teacher to oversee an established SEMH school rated ‘Good’ with Ofsted. This is a very exciting opportunity for someone who has the skillset to lead a successful and inspirational school for vulnerable young people.

The Role: Head Teacher

  • Promote a relentless focus on high quality, creative learning, delivering our pupils educational needs, maximising pupil achievement, and their ability to develop
  • Provide effective leadership and management of the school that ensures the school meets its aims and objectives and operates within the overall strategy and guidelines
  • Meeting all statutory requirements as defined by the DfE, Ofsted and other external bodies and achieving the highest inspection ratings possible
  • Effective strategic and operational planning, that includes self-evaluation, school improvement and delivery

About You:

  • At least three years’ experience as a senior leader in a specialist school for pupils with SEN/SEMH needs   
  • Qualified Teacher Status or Equivalent         
  • NPQH qualification
  • Experience of planning the curriculum across a range of ages and abilities
  • Proven working knowledge of Ofsted frameworks with successful outcomes
