Here at Hampton’s we are working in partnership with a client offering a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Fostering Manager to lead on their journey of opening a BRAND NEW Independent Fostering Agency based in Erith, Kent! This role is ideal for an existing fostering expert to take on a rewarding challenge. The interim manager will be in charge of registering the agency with Ofsted.
The Role: Interim Fostering Manager
- To oversee the day-to-day management of the Fostering service
- You will hold the Registration with Ofsted to ensure the highest quality of care for young people.
- To grow the Fostering Service, and to focus on the provision of specialist foster care
- To work within agreed targets and budgets to ensure the successful running of the provision
- Coach and manage a team of social works to make sure they provide the best possible service to foster carers and young people they work with
- Ensure annual foster carer reviews are completed timely with documented competency evidence
About You:
- Must be Social Work qualified
- Hold NVQ 4 in Management (or equivalent)
- Proven leadership experience within in an Independent Fostering Agency
- Expertise in Fostering and Family Assessments at Registered Manager level
- Must hold a valid UK driving license
What’s On Offer:
- Salary: £300 day rate (Up to £60K once permanent/full time)
- 1 day per week – 6 month contract
- Paid mileage/car allowance
- 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays
- Contributory pension
- Temp to perm opportunities available
