The Role:
- Providing strategic leadership in special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
- Promoting inclusive education and ensuring high-quality support services.
- Developing and implementing strategies, policies, and initiatives for SEND.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, including parents, carers, and schools.
- Ensuring effective assessment, support, and intervention services.
- Managing resources efficiently and ensuring regulatory compliance, including the Safety Valve programme.
- Collaborating with internal and external partners to improve SEND services.
About You:
- Extensive knowledge and experience in SEND and educational services.
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to develop strategic policies.
- Strong stakeholder relationship management abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaborative working skills.
- Understanding of relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proactive in staff development, service improvement, and budget management.
- Attributes such as empathy, resilience, and a commitment to inclusive education.
What’s On Offer:
This position offers a daily rate of £550, with hybrid working arrangements requiring two days on site. The initial contract is for six months, with the possibility of extension or the chance to go permanent.
