Hamptons are working with a West Midlands authority who are looking to recruit an Interim SEND and EHC Data Lead for a two day per week contract
The Role: Interim SEND and EHC Data Lead
The local authority is seeking a motivated and skilled SEND and EHC Data Lead to join their dynamic SEND service. This critical role will be instrumental in developing and managing a comprehensive data management system to support the Education, Health, and Care (EHC) planning process and wider SEND services. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate, timely, and effective data collection, analysis, and reporting to support decision-making and service improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain a robust EHC case management system.
• Create and manage a SEND Data Dashboard and a Director's Dashboard.
• Generate accurate and timely reports on SEND performance data.
• Use data to identify areas for service improvement and training.
• Provide training, advice, and support to the current SEND data officer.
• Lead on specific data-related projects within the SEND service.
About You:
We are looking for candidates who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of children and young people with SEND.
• A degree in Data Science, Information Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience in data management and analysis, ideally within an education, health, or care setting.
• Advanced skills in data management software, including Power BI.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of SEND legislation and the EHC planning process is highly desirable.
