The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Service Manager & PBS Lead to oversee a new supported living service dedicated to adults with learning disabilities and complex needs in West London. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the mobilisation of the service’s six units, building and developing a skilled staff team, and ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred care. Key responsibilities include managing daily operations, implementing Positive Behaviour Support strategies, maintaining compliance with CQC standards, and fostering positive relationships with families, MDT professionals, and commissioners. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape a high-standard, person-centred service from the ground up.
About You:
The ideal applicant will have significant experience managing learning disabilities services, with a strong understanding of Positive Behaviour Support and behaviour of concern. You will be a proactive leader with excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills. A Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification or willingness to work towards it is essential, along with a proven track record in staff development, coaching, and supervision. Candidates should be committed to promoting dignity, independence, and human rights, and possess a good working knowledge of CQC requirements. Desirable qualities include BILD-accredited PBS training and experience supporting individuals with complex behavioural needs.
