We are proud to be partnered up with a childrens residential provider who are seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead x2 children’s residential services in Bradford, and support growth of further homes.

The Role:
In this strategic role, you will provide operational, safeguarding, and cultural leadership across multiple children’s homes. The primary purpose is to ensure each home offers safe, trauma-informed, therapeutic care that complies with regulatory standards and organisational values. You will work collaboratively with registered managers, local authorities, and external partners to maintain high-quality services, promote continuous improvement, and achieve positive outcomes for children.
 

About You:

  • Significant leadership experience within children’s residential services, with strong expertise in safeguarding and regulatory compliance.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent; a Level 7 qualification is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to lead multi-site operations and foster strong partnership working.
  • Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel.
  • Ability to participate in an on-call rota.
  • Personal attributes include resilience, a child-centred approach, and a commitment to safeguarding and continuous service improvement.

What’s On Offer:

  • Salary between £65,000 and £75,000, plus a comprehensive benefits package including pension scheme, private healthcare, and performance-related bonus.
