The Role: Registered Care Manager

About You:

  • Experience of working in a residential environment at a managerial level. 
  • A proven track record of developing trusting relationships with local authorities.
  • At least five years’ experience at Manager level or above, delivering a CQC compliant service rated as ‘Good’.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Social Care – or equivalent; or be willing to commit to achieving within two years of appointment.
  • Recruit and manage a team, developing star performers and managing staff that present challenges. 
  • A tenacious attitude when it comes to getting the best for our client’s residents.
  • Good relationship management skills and first-hand experience of building commercial relationships.
  • Strong people and networking skills.
  • Excellent leadership and team building skills.

About the role: 
Hamptons are currently supporting a fantastic charitable organisation, who due to their continued high standard, person-centred care, we are supporting them to recruit a Registered Manager that is enthusiastic and passionate about providing the highest standard of care, the appointed candidate will be responsible for overseeing a small 11-bed Residential Care Home for the elderly. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, be energetic and self-motivated and be looking for a career that makes a genuine difference to the lives of others.

You will be responsible for a deputy, two seniors and a team of care staff who help oversee a very personable service.
