Job Title: Registered Manager – 4-Bed Children’s Residential Home
Location: Newark-on-Trent

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead a 4-bed children’s residential home in Newark-on-Trent. This is an opportunity to join an established non-profit provider and create a safe, supportive environment where young people can thrive, feel valued, and achieve positive outcomes.

About the Role

As the Registered Manager, you will:

Lead, motivate, and develop a residential care team to deliver high-quality support to children and young people.

Ensure the home operates in full compliance with Ofsted regulations and the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015.

Promote a safe, stable, and nurturing environment that supports the emotional and behavioural needs of young people.

Provide leadership and guidance to Deputy Managers, Senior Support Workers, and Residential Support Workers.

Oversee safeguarding procedures, care planning, and risk management to ensure the wellbeing and stability of placements.

Work closely with local authorities, social workers, and external professionals to achieve the best outcomes for young people.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will:

Have a minimum of 3–5 years’ experience working in children’s residential care.

Have at least 2 years’ experience supervising or managing staff within a residential setting.

Hold an NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People’s Workforce (or equivalent).

Hold, or be working towards, a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England).

Have strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding practices.

Be a confident leader with the ability to build and maintain a positive, supportive team culture.

Salary & Benefits
