Job Title: Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Home

Salary: £49,000 – £52,000 per annum + up to £10,000 in performance bonuses + £5,000 welcome bonus

We are delighted to present an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead a brand-new 3-bed EBD (Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties) home in Middleton Cheney, Banbury. The Role
As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the leadership, compliance, and overall performance of the home. Your key responsibilities will include:
Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people in line with Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and Ofsted Quality Standards.
Leading, motivating, and developing the staff team to provide a safe, nurturing, and structured environment.
Ensuring individual care plans and placement plans are tailored to meet each child’s needs.
Driving continuous improvement and preparing the home for Ofsted inspections.
Building strong relationships with external stakeholders, including local authorities and partner agencies.
Managing budgets, resources, and occupancy levels effectively.
Acting as a role model for high standards of care, safeguarding, and practice.
About You
To succeed in this role, you should have:
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in a children’s residential setting.
A strong track record of working with children and young people with EBD.
Knowledge of Ofsted requirements, safeguarding, and children’s legislation.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
A genuine passion for supporting young people to achieve positive outcomes.
