Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Home (EBD)
Location: Hythe
Salary: Up to £67,000 per annum

Hampton’s are working in partnership with an established children’s residential care provider who are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead an EBD children’s home in Hythe

This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong leader to drive high standards of care, ensure regulatory excellence, and deliver outstanding outcomes for young people.


The Role: Registered Manager (EBD)

Safeguard and promote the welfare of children, ensuring compliance with the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.

Successfully register with Ofsted as the Registered Manager.

Ensure full compliance with all legislation, Ofsted regulations, and organisational policies and procedures.

Provide strong and effective leadership, inspiring and developing a skilled and engaged staff team.

Embed a culture of safeguarding, transparency, and continuous improvement.

Oversee staffing structures and ensure effective deployment of resources.

Maintain excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Take accountability for financial performance, managing budgets and delivering agreed targets.

Drive innovation and service development to ensure sustainability and resilience.

Celebrate and promote success across the service.


About You:

Thorough understanding of relevant legislation and Ofsted regulations relating to children’s homes.

Minimum of 2 years’ experience working within children’s homes in the last 5 years, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or management role.

Current or previous Ofsted registration as a Registered Manager (preferred).

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (preferred).

Exceptional leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

Passionate about delivering high-quality care and positive outcomes for young people.
