An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Registered Manager to join a specialist EBD and LD children’s home in Erdington, playing a key leadership role in delivering high-quality, child-centred care.
The role:
- Ensures high standards of physical, emotional and social care are consistently delivered in line with Ofsted regulatory requirements and company expectations.
- Responsible for ensuring sufficient and appropriate staffing is in place across all shifts, taking into account experience, skill set, qualifications and team diversity.
- Supports the Senior Management Team (SMT) as needed by reviewing referral documentation, carrying out pre-placement assessments, coordinating admissions, and communicating with external placement agencies.
- Oversees timely Regulation 44 visits and ensures recommendations are fully implemented.
- Ensures compliance with company financial procedures, including budgeting, petty cash, and purchasing, and works closely with the Finance Manager as required.
About you:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a registered manager in an EBD and LD children's residential home.
- Effective and proven leadership capabilities supporting staff within a residential setting.
- Ability to interact effectively and influence children/young people with complex behaviour and emotional distress.
- Budgetary and financial management skills.
- Ability to work personably as part of a diverse multi-cultural staff team.
What's on offer:
- Salary between £50,000 – £55,000.
