Dual Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Homes (Congleton)
Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum
Here at Hamptons, we are delighted to be working in partnership with a supportive and well-organised children’s residential care provider who are seeking an experienced Dual Registered Manager to oversee two well-established 2-bed EBD homes based in Congleton.
Both services are fully staffed, rated Good in all areas by Ofsted, and operating with strong structures already in place. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager looking to step into a dual role, or someone already operating at that level, without the pressures of turnaround or instability.
This is a highly rewarding opportunity to provide strategic leadership and maintain high standards across two settled services supporting young people with emotional and behavioural needs.
The Role: Dual Registered Manager
Provide overall leadership and management across two children’s residential homes
Ensure both services remain fully compliant with relevant legislation and Ofsted / National Minimum Standards
Maintain and further develop services already rated Good by Ofsted
Deliver a high-quality, consistent service aligned with organisational values
Provide strategic oversight and support to established staff teams
Promote a safe, structured, and nurturing environment for young people and staff
Drive continuous improvement while maintaining service stability
Build strong relationships with external professionals and stakeholders
About You
Proven experience as a Registered Manager within children’s residential care
Experience working with young people with EBD
Ideally experience managing multiple services or readiness to step into a dual role
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or willingness to complete)
Strong knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and Ofsted frameworks
Positive Ofsted inspection history as a Registered Manager
