Registered Manager – 5 Bed Children’s Home (EBD)
Location: St Albans
Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum

Hampton’s are working in exclusive partnership with a well-established children’s residential care provider who are seeking a highly skilled Registered Manager to oversee a brand-new 5-bed EBD home in St Albans.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an experienced organisation and put your stamp on a new service from the ground up, ensuring the very best care and outcomes for young people.
The Role: Children’s Registered Manager
Safeguard and promote the welfare of children, ensuring compliance with the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 (CHR) and Quality Standards.
Lead the opening and ongoing management of the home, embedding best practice from day one.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure staff are fully trained, supported, and aware of their responsibilities in line with legislation and organisational policies.
Oversee and regularly review personalised care plans, ensuring each young person’s education, health, social, emotional, and cultural needs are met.
Drive referrals and occupancy to maximise the home’s success.
About You:
Strong knowledge of Quality Standards with experience contributing to Ofsted inspections in a Deputy Manager or Registered Manager role.
Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or working towards) and Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
At least one year’s managerial experience in a children’s home, with two or more years working directly with young people.
Ability to lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing staff team.
Proven experience in managing referrals and achieving full occupancy.
