Lead a Dynamic Children's Home in Kirkby, Liverpool!

Hamptons is collaborating with a small care provider in Kirkby, Liverpool, to find an exceptional Registered Manager for a newly established children's home. This home will cater to young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and Learning Disabilities (LD) and is set for significant growth.

Role Responsibilities:

– Ensure that staff are aware of the individual needs of all young people and skilled to deliver the support required to ensure life chance opportunities and positive holistic development.
– Develop and make known to staff a variety of intervention strategies that support the environment regarding behaviour management and the promotion of pro-social behaviour.
– Ensure the home is financially viable and managed within its allocated budgets.
– Produce and implement a development plan for the service that ensures the delivery of high quality, clinically informed practice.
– Provide staff with sufficient information that ensures they understand their role and implement monitoring systems which will ensure they perform to a high standard.
– Promote and actively encourage the professional development of staff. To provide support and direction to the staff team, directly deliver supervision to identified members of staff and regularly appraise performance as outlined in company policy.

Candidate Profile:

– Proven track record with Ofsted as a Registered Manager.
– Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or willingness to undertake).
– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
– A genuine desire to make a positive change for young people.
– In-depth understanding of Ofsted regulations.
– Full UK Driving License
