About You:
Imagine leading a brand-new children's residential home in Birmingham, making a profound difference in the lives of young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). This role is ideal for an experienced Registered Manager or a Deputy Manager ready to embrace a leadership challenge and make a meaningful impact.
The ideal candidate will hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) or be working towards this qualification. A proven track record in a managerial role within a residential childcare setting, preferably within a therapeutic environment, is essential. Up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and best practice guidelines is crucial. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are necessary to foster a supportive and effective team environment. The ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies is also vital. Registration with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) update service is a must.
