6-9 Month Fixed Term Contract – Are you an experienced Registered Manager ready to lead a therapeutic children’s home and make a real difference to young lives?

We are seeking a confident and values-driven Registered Manager to cover a 6-9 month period for an established EBD home with 2 young people. The Purley based service follows an Outstanding-rated framework and a therapeutic, relationship-based model known as Intentional Parenting.

Role Overview:
As Registered Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding and regulatory compliance.
 

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the home in line with Children’s Homes Regulations and Ofsted requirements
• Act as the Registered Manager with Ofsted and lead inspections
• Embed therapeutic and Intentional Parenting practice across the service
• Manage, supervise and develop staff teams
• Oversee Regulation 44 visits and Regulation 45 reporting
• Ensure care plans meet the individual needs of each young person
• Manage budgets, staffing and the home environment
• Support young people through complex behaviours and crisis situations
• Participate in the on-call rota

Person Specification:
• NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or working towards)
• Proven experience as a Registered Manager or senior leader in children’s residential care
• Direct experience leading Ofsted inspections
• Strong safeguarding and regulatory knowledge
• Evidence of positive Ofsted outcomes
• Applicants must be over 20 years of age
