Are you an experienced Registered Manager looking for the opportunity to build and lead a new children’s home from the ground up?
We are recruiting a Registered Manager to lead a brand-new 4-bed stabilisation children’s home based in Bulkington, Warwickshire, supporting children and young people following unplanned home endings. The home will provide short- to medium-term stability, care, and therapeutic support, helping young people move forward positively.
This is a rare opportunity to play a key role in setting up, registering, and shaping a new service, with strong leadership support and an embedded therapeutic approach.
About the Role:
As Registered Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the home and will play a central role in creating a safe, nurturing, and high-quality environment where young people can thrive.
Key responsibilities include:
Full leadership and management of the children’s home
Leading the service through Ofsted registration and ongoing inspections
Ensuring compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations and safeguarding standards
Recruiting, developing, and inspiring a skilled residential care team
Delivering high-quality, therapeutic, child-centred care
Managing budgets, staffing, and resources effectively
Building strong relationships with families, professionals, and multi-agency partners
About You:
You will be a confident, values-led leader with a strong understanding of children’s residential care and a passion for improving outcomes for young people.
Essential requirements:
Proven experience managing a children’s residential home
Strong knowledge of Children’s Homes (England) Regulations, safeguarding, and Ofsted frameworks
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards)
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
A commitment to creating a safe, stable, and nurturing environment
