We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Service Manager to lead a supported accommodation service for young people, based in Southampton. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference by creating a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment where young people can thrive and develop independence.
You will be responsible for the overall leadership, management, and development of the service, ensuring high-quality care, strong safeguarding practices, and full regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day running of the service and manage a high-performing staff team
- Ensure safeguarding, compliance, and adherence to relevant legislation
- Oversee care delivery, support planning, and positive outcomes for young people
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and external agencies
- Monitor quality, performance, and continuous improvement
- Manage budgets, resources, and contribute to service development
About You
- Experienced in managing supported accommodation or children’s services
- Knowledgeable in safeguarding and relevant legislation
- A strong leader with excellent communication and organisational skills
- Passionate about improving outcomes for young people
- Confident in managing compliance, inspections, and multi-agency working
