We are seeking compassionate, resilient, and committed Residential Childcare Workers to join our 3-bed EBD home based in Bolton. You will play a vital role in providing a safe, nurturing, and structured environment for children and young people who have experienced trauma and adversity. Ability to follow a 2 on 4 off working pattern and flexibility for sleep-ins is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and support in line with individual care plans

  • Build trusting, positive relationships with young people

  • Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies

  • Promote education, life skills, and independence

  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to care planning

  • Work in partnership with families, social workers, and external professionals

  • Ensure safeguarding and child protection policies are followed at all times

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working with children and young people (EBD experience desirable)

  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Resilience and the ability to remain calm under pressure

  • A genuine passion for improving outcomes for young people

  • Full UK driving licence (desirable)
