Lead and Inspire in Children's Residential Care Across the West Midlands!
An established client of ours is seeking a full-time Responsible Individual to oversee up to seven of their children's homes. This role offers a unique blend of established homes and new developments, providing a dynamic and rewarding environment. With a competitive salary of £65,000 – £75,000, plus a car allowance and a rewarding bonus scheme, this home-based role with regular travel across the West Midlands is perfect for a dedicated professional looking to make a significant impact.
The Role: Responsible Individual
– Act as the Ofsted registered Responsible Individual for multiple children’s homes, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislative requirements.
– Provide strategic leadership and management to ensure high standards of care and service in line with legislation, government guidance, regulations, and the provider’s policies and procedures.
– Oversee the management of placements within the homes, working closely with managers to develop coordinated care plans for children and young people.
– Drive the development and implementation of new homes, ensuring they meet the highest standards from the outset.
About You:
– Extensive experience in managing care planning practice in children’s homes, including identifying, assessing, planning, delivering, monitoring, and evaluating outcomes.
– In-depth knowledge of law and practice relating to looked after children.
– Strong business and management skills to supervise the service efficiently and effectively.
– Previous experience as a Responsible Individual or Registered Manager in a children’s residential setting with proven Ofsted outcomes.
