Part-Time Responsible Individual required!

Here at Hampton’s we are proud to be working in partnership with a well-established and health and social care provider in their search for a highly experienced Responsible Individual to join their senior management team and to be instrumental in the opening of their first children’s home based in Bexley, South East London.

The Role: Responsible Individual

  • To be the Ofsted registered Responsible Individual for the children’s home and act on behalf of the organisation to ensure that the home meet relevant requirements set out in legislation
  • To provide effective leadership and management of the home
  • To ensure a high standard of consistent care and service in accordance with legislation, government guidance, regulations and standards, and the policies and procedures of the registered provider
  • To oversee the management of placements within the home and to liaise with managers in formulating jointly agreed plans to ensure a coordinated approach to services for children and young people

About You:

  • Substantial experience of managing care planning practice in children’s homes; identifying, assessing, planning, delivering, monitoring, and evaluating outcomes
  • Extensive knowledge of law and practice relating to looked after children
  • Have the business and management skills to supervise the management of the service efficiently and effectively
  • Must have previous experience as a Responsible Individual or Registered Manager in a children’s residential setting with proven Ofsted outcomes
