Hamptons are working with Enfield Council in the search for their next SEN Assessment and Review coordinator.
The Role: SEN Assessment and Review coordinator
This position involves providing a comprehensive service to enable the Local Authority (LA) fulfil its statutory duties in relation to the assessment of pupils with special educational needs by ensuring the efficient and effective implementation of statutory procedures and the appropriate placement and ongoing provision arrangements for Enfield residing pupils both inside and outside the LA area.
About You:
– The successful candidate will be an experienced SEN Case Officer with a minimum of 6 months experience
– You would have worked within the Local Authority setting for the past 2 years
– Extensive experience of post-14, anyone without this will not be considered
– Knowledge of The Children and Families Act 2014, SEND Code of Practice 2015 & SEND Regulations 2014
– An exceptionally high standard of written skills for producing EHCPs
– Excellent organisational skills that can meet conflicting demands to ensure deadlines are always met
What's On Offer: £275 per day and 1/2 days on-site per week
