Hamptons are working with a Local Authority in the Midlands in the search for a SEN Case Officer to support their current team.
The Role:
– Candidates will work alongside an SEN Casework Officer to help manage a locality/caseload of children and young people with EHCPs.
– Primary duties will include the processing of annual reviews, review, checking and issuing of draft/final EHCPs and proposed amended/final amended EHCPs in line with statutory timescales. Candidates will also be expected to undertake any relevant casework actions required such as liaison with parent/carers an education settings.
– Processing of travel assistance applications.
– Candidates will be required to identify bespoke packages of education for children and young people with EHCPs, including following the appropriate referral/consultation process with education settings.
– Candidates will be required to update relevant information management systems and spreadsheets.
About You:
– Candidates must have experience of using the IDOX online EHC Hub, if not, similar online EHCP management systems
What's On Offer: Up to £250 per day and hybrid working with 1x day on-site per week.
