Hamptons are working with a Berkshire based Local Authority in the search of their next two SEN Case Officers.
The Role: SEN Case Officer
As an SEN Case Officer, you will have the opportunity to work within a supportive team, ensuring that children with special educational needs receive the tailored support they require.
This role offers the satisfaction of knowing that your work directly impacts the educational and personal development of young individuals.
This role is a ‘full’ Case Officer post
About You:
The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in handling special educational needs cases and a thorough understanding of the Capita system. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing a caseload of SEN students, conducting assessments, and developing and monitoring Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
Your expertise will be crucial in liaising with parents, schools, and other professionals to ensure that each child’s needs are met effectively and efficiently.
Key skills and experience required for this role include:
– Proven experience as an SEN Case Officer.
– Proficiency with the Capita system is essential.
– Strong understanding of the SEN Code of Practice and relevant legislation.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to manage a diverse caseload and work under pressure.
– Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
What’s On Offer: £280 per day, hybrid working and an ASAP start date.
