Are you an experienced SEND Caseworker, looking for a new interim opportunity? If so we have the role for you!
Hamptons are working with a local authority based in the in the South West of England to find a new SEND Caseworker.
The Role:
– Coordinate the EHC Needs Assessment Process
– Regular communication with families regarding next steps in the EHC Needs Assessment process for their child
– Regular communications with colleagues within the Education, Health and Social Care
– Competent IT skills to navigate our IT systems to create and amend statutory documents
– Working to strict time scales
About You:
– Candidates need to have experience of creating concise Draft and Final EHCP’s which meet the legal requirements whilst working with the families and schools.
– The candidate will need to have experience of conversations with schools to promote Inclusion within mainstream schools.
– Strong understanding of SEND legislation and tribunal procedures
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Ability to manage complex and sensitive cases with professionalism
– Skilled in negotiation, conflict resolution, and advocacy
– Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
– experience of using EHM/Liquid Logic would be beneficial
What's On Offer:
– £300 per day
– Initial 3 month contract
– Remote working
