The Role:
• Represent the local authority in SEND Tribunal proceedings, ensuring legally sound and well-evidenced responses.
• Manage complex SEND tribunal cases from initial appeal through to hearing or resolution.
• Prepare, review, and analyse case documentation and supporting evidence.
• Attend tribunal hearings and mediation sessions, advocating effectively on behalf of the council.
• Ensure compliance with the Children and Families Act 2014, SEND Regulations 2014, and SEND Code of Practice 2015.
About You:
• Strong experience in SEND tribunals, mediation, or dispute resolution within a local authority or similar setting.
• In-depth knowledge of SEND legislation and statutory frameworks.
• Confident representing a local authority in tribunal hearings and mediation.
What’s On Offer: £290 per day and hybrid or remote working
