We are seeking an experienced, compassionate and reliable Senior Care Officer to support the day-to-day supervision, coordination and performance of Care Workers within a residential care setting. Working as part of a committed management team, you will play a key role in ensuring high-quality care delivery, regulatory compliance and positive outcomes for residents.
In this hands-on leadership role, you will support rota management, staff supervision, care planning and risk management, while stepping in for senior management when required to maintain service continuity and quality. You will ensure that care is delivered in line with Social Care legislation, CQC requirements and organisational policies, always placing residents at the centre of decision-making.
This is a role for a dedicated care professional who leads by example, promotes best practice and takes personal responsibility for the wellbeing, dignity and safety of vulnerable residents.
About You:
We are looking for a committed and values-driven care professional who is:
• Experienced in a Senior Care Officer role or a similar supervisory position within social care
• Passionate about delivering timely, person-centred care to vulnerable residents
• Confident in supervising, supporting and developing Care Workers
• Knowledgeable in Social Care legislation, CQC standards and safeguarding procedures
• Experienced in care planning, risk assessments, manual handling and medication management
• Fair, professional and consistent in applying policies and procedures
• A strong team player who collaborates effectively with internal teams and external partners
• Flexible and able to work a 24/7 rota, including weekends and bank holidays

Education and Qualification:
• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) — essential
